Catalytic Engagement

I am an academic at heart, a former newspaper reporter who once lived community service on the streets of New York and then found my way to a graduate program in comparative religion that, unexpectedly, led me to my 30+ year career in nonprofit fundraising.  I celebrate diversity and focus my professional and personal life on activities that foster equity.  I came to the Mastery School as an admirer of its model of learning by doing, in teams, with educators who guide discovery. I am in awe of the vision, the people who lead it, and most of all the Mastery School students who practice it.
