Language acquisition, as well as education, is a journey of discovery. It is a process of unlocking the potential within each of us to explore, question, and connect with the world around us. I believe that every learner has a unique path to follow, and my role is to guide each student with a blend of creativity, curiosity, and real-world relevance. I’ve dedicated my career to fostering intercultural connections that spotlight the diverse, dynamic nature of our world. My work has ranged from leading language departments to consulting with executives on leadership development, always with a focus on nurturing relationships, encouraging innovation, and empowering others to exercise their full agency. Beyond the classroom, you can find me at the piano, writing, composing, and producing music. I use music as a healing art form and a way to build connections with others, particularly through a community-based pop-up choir I founded with my husband. These creative pursuits have deeply informed my holistic approach to education. I’m excited to be part of the dynamic team at the Mastery School of Hawken.
