Director of Residential Life & Community Partnerships
I’ve had a range of roles at Hawken over the last 15 years which include: dean, history and humanities teacher, advisor, soccer coach, community engagement coordinator, and faculty advisor to numerous clubs. In all that I do, I look to connect with students and help create meaningful experiences in and out of the classroom. As a committed educator, I believe in the transformative power of education. A positive school experience can help students realize their potential and become informed and active citizens. My four children, who went to Hawken and are now in college and are working, are incredibly important to me. I spend as much time as possible with them and my parents and our dog, Khallie. In my free time I bike, go out with friends, and participate in a variety of organizations in Cleveland. As the inaugural Director of Residential Life, I am looking forward to creating a supportive and engaging community for students, implementing innovative programs to enhance their experience, and fostering a positive living environment that promotes personal growth and academic success. I am also the Director of Community Partnerships and will be helping the Mastery School teachers connect with partners for Macros.
