I believe that we are a society of storytellers. As a teacher, my goal is to support students as they plot out their adventures ahead. My own journey has given me the opportunity to work in schools, museums, nonprofits, industry, and across administrations in the federal government. At each step of that journey, I have tried to be an advocate for students who need to have their stories heard. Sometimes that advocacy is through policy, sometimes through games or fiction, sometimes through technology or museum exhibits. Whatever the medium, I believe that stories have the power to change the world.
